Make A Joyful Noise

Come as you are.
Leave with a song.

MAJN is part songwriter showcase, part community sing-along, and part beautiful excuse to gather. No sermon. No velvet rope. Just original music, familiar choruses, generous listening, and a room—or park, beach, backyard, or open field—full of human voices.

A non-religious service for the human spirit

The fuller the gathering,
the bigger the boom.

MAJN began with Robert and Sonya Joseph—rOjO n SoJo—and a simple belief: singing together changes the temperature of a room. We invite songwriters to share what only they can write, then end with the songs everybody can own for a few minutes.

01

Hear something true

Original songs and originally crafted covers from artists with a story to tell.

02

Join the chorus

Every set lands in a sing-along, because the audience is part of the instrument.

03

Carry it outward

Take the warmth into the week—and help the next MAJN appear somewhere unexpected.

MAJN Flash + Pop-Up

Joy does not always need a reservation.

We’re building light-footprint gatherings for places where music and people can meet with fewer barriers: parks, beaches, open spaces, backyards, courtyards, farms, neighborhood commons, and willing venues.

A MAJN Flash may arrive with short notice. A Pop-Up may grow from a host, a handful of musicians, and a local list of people ready to sing. The infrastructure is simple. The human result can be enormous.

Meet the first MAJNites

Hosted by rOjO n SoJo.

Robert and Sonya Joseph created MAJN as a warm-hearted alternative to passive entertainment: a gathering where musicians are honored, listeners become participants, and nobody has to sing beautifully to sing fully.
